Vernon James -DJ Stylz

Aided by an upbringing in a very musically-influenced home and having spent over 15 years spinning at many major night clubs & local gigs, Vernon has had plenty of time to finely tune his crowd reading skills, increase his music knowledge and develop his sound. His list of residencies include Club Malibu, Cowboys, Thunderdome, Nashvilles Electric Roadhouse, Inferno and Hudsons Tap House -Whyte Ave to name a few.

Vernon hails out of Edmonton, Alberta and is a very active member of his local community; he is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of the local music scene.  Though he loves playing weddings, nightclubs, patios, raves and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of just mixing tunes.  As a producer, musician and DJ, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.  

For Vernon, it’s all about mood and playing those tracks that get your tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.  Don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.
